All paintings are insured. When a painting is received damaged due to mishandling of the shipper, please let Nico know, and a claim will be filed. At which point, Nico will contact the buyer and they will work something out. There are options with repair, and there are options with sending another artwork out, in addition to the damaged piece. Exchanging is not an option. Please let Nico know, and he will take care of you. Thanks!
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Dust every 3-6 months by using a synthetic paintbrush you would typically find at Michael's or similar craft stores. As if you were painting the canvas, brush the dust particles, and be sure to handle the canvas by the edges of the frame, or the hook on the back. Using a duster, or similar fabriced cloths can create static which allows the dust particles to cling to the painting even more. Synthetic brushes are the best.
If you need to re-varnish your painting, please either contact Nico, or hire a professional restorer to remove the tarnished finish, and apply a new layer.
Do not stack edges of paintings onto other paintings, this puts a divot into the muslin, however, if such an instance occurs, a damp paper towel that is rubbed onto the BACK of the canvas where the divot is will re-stretch and tighten the muslin and erase the divot (mostly). If you have questions about this part of the repair process, please also contact Nico.
Getting a painting framed is welcome, but be sure to buy museum glass/fiberglass, which allows the porus acrylic to breathe and prevents molding.
